View Full Version : Congratulations Freo
I could rant and rave for about half an hour about the dockers, instead of putting you all thru that let me just say that I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH YESTERDAYS EFFORT.
When I say disappointed I mean it in the most harsh and angry way. Not the kind of disappointed that you are when the other lane on the freeway moves faster than yours, no, I mean the kind of disappointed you are when you stop having that little feeling of hope deep down in your heart. That little feeling of hope that keeps you coming back each week.
I Booed my own team for the first time yesterday!!!
RacerX like you I could rant and rave for ages about this but I will simply say this : FREMANTLE YOU WERE PATHETIC YESTERDAY!
Most times there is hope that things will improve but not this year.

all we can do at the moment as fremantle supporters is be loyal and stick by our club they are going through a hard time at the moment and need our support no matter how frustrated and angry we are
the saint kilda supporters managed to do this last year so why can't we?
if use really feel that angry and frustrated why not write the club a letter and tell them how you feel, you never know that may be just what they need to hear their supporters frusration, it may help them get a win on the board
or maybe we just need to have a player cry on field just like that saints guy did last year

Have been writing to the club but don't seem to get replies other than the ones you would expect, you know "we know how you feel" ,"unacceptable performances", etc.Typically political replies.
We will not see a Freo player cry on the field because they do not have enough pride in the club, the jumper or in themselves,to show that sort of emotion.:( :( :( :( :(
Is it getting to a point when you start thinking about a winless season??

I have no doubt we are looking at a winless season. It really hurts me to say it but that is certainly the way it looks. Can any of our supporters see and tell me where our first win is going to come from.I have no doubt we are not as bad as we have been playing but brother we have been shocking.Maybe we are kidding ourselves that our players are better than we think.Pride pride pride is what they lack.
We'll probably end up pulling off an upset somewhere in the season. Realistically the only game we have any chance of winning is against the weagles from up the road.

i don't have any doubt in how good our players are sure they aint nathan buckley or matthew lloyd but they all have the skills to play the game and they just need that bit of confidence and they can get their first win
wat we need to do is be true loyal supporters and stop booing our own team and support them
i know that use are all frustrated and are really angry at them for not winning but just remember back to this time last year st kilda were winnless but they some how got the confidence they needed and won a game
so just keep being loyal and supporting the team and maybe just maybe that win will come
Dockerbabe I don't know how you remain so positive, dont you ever get frustrated with them.
All the people on here are true loyal supporters, you can tell that by the fact that we all turn up week in week out but that dosent mean that we should go along and support them aimlesly when they really need a reality check.
Last week was the first time that I actually booed them and Im hoping that it never comes to that again.
All I expect when I go along is a good honest performance and sadly that did not occur in the first half last week. (Maybe booing them at half time did the trick and they played much better in the second half).
Im a realist (or maybe even a pesimist) when it comes to Freo. To many times over the years Freo have taken one step forward and two backwards and you end up being disapointed. so now I look at Freos performances realistically and sometimes negatively.
I hope Freo win a heap of games from here on in but as I said previously looking at it critically I cant see it happening.
Hey Balip,
Just thought I'd let you know that you weren't the only one to boo their own team for the first on sunday.
I confess! I booed them at halftime also.I felt a bit better about it afterwards though, it was a release of pent-up emotion.
As for my initial post - my disappointment remains but that little ball of hope for freo is still there! Freo may have some problems on and off the field but I will always stick by em.
But I call a spade a spade and if they play crap I'll let them know!

We all get disapointed.
But if your still a freo supporter after all this time
You must have thick skin and patience.
Thats not an excuse, but merely a example of the strength of charactor of all freo supporters that have been there since the beggining and those that will stick by them in the future.
