View Full Version : Wizard Cup team
IMO this is what the wizard cup team should look like.
B: King, Presti, Clement
HB: J.Cloke, Wakelin, Buckley
C: Cole, O'Bree, Lonie
HF: L. Davis, A. Rocca, T.Davidson
F: Burns, Tarrant, Williams
Fo: Fraser, Licuria, Didak
INT: C.Cloke, Richards, Holland, Mullins, Shackleton, Walker, McGough, Lokan
Out with injury: R. Shaw, Lockyer, Johnson, Woey
Other Possibilities:
One of Buckley, Tarrant, Rocca, Licuria, Burns, Wakelin, Presti rested for Nixon, Swan or B or H. Shaw or perhaps even Rowe.
Thoughts?

I understand Woey will be right for next week. Apart from that your team seems to be alright but MM has shown in the past that he will play the younger guys. This will probably mean Nixon will be in the team.

F*ck the wizz cup.
I want these blokes played: (Players in CAPS especially)
T.DAVIDSON, D.KING, B.NIXON, G.RICHARDS, C.Cloke, B.Shaw, L.Shackelton, B.Hall (If he is fit).
IMO these players must be tried:
King, Shackleton, Nixon, Richards, Davidson.
Cole, Didak, Lonie should be tried in the midfield/wings along with perhaps Johnson if we get through to second round and he's availble.
i heard mcgough wont be considered, has OP or something like that
nixon, king, cam cloke, shackelton, davidson should all play IMO

HB: Bo Nixon, Jason Cloke, Paul Licuria, Matty Lokan
C: Leon Davis, Luke Shackleton, Ryan Lonie
HF: Richard Cole, Josh Fraser, Chris Tarrant
F: Alan Didak, Anthony Rocca
Foll: Guy Richards, Shane O'Bree, Brodie Holland
Inter: Sir Scott Burns, Tom Davidson, Cameron Cloke, Luke Mullins, Heath Shaw, Tristen Walker, Shane Wakelin, Dean Benson* (can rooks play?)
Give Shackelton the chance to impress with Bucks, Woey and Tarkyn not out there. Johnno, Race also out giving Kingy and Bowman a shot at it. With Bucks hinted to head to the backline this year a bit more and Scoots gone a midfield spot beckons for Shak if hes good enough.
Heavily rotate the midfielders especially if its a hot one.
Play Leon off the wing and give him a liscence to roam as he did against Port in his first Wizzer cup outing a few years back.
If Guy stands up looking forward to how the E-Girls and other teams this year match up on Frase, Pebbles and Taz. Sneak Tommy D in there too.
The Shack Attack is my pick for our "suprise packet" of the year.
If Shackzilla impresses this year I think McGough is gone.
IMO if Guy comes good this year, Fraser should still do around 70% of the ruck work. I think he is a ruckman.

Pity Richards has a "leg complaint" and doesn't look like he will get a start against WC.

Buck will be rested. Does anyone think we can win over in W.A. with such a young side?

It's the Wiz cup anything can happen, I doubt either side will make an attempt to put their best 24 is it? on the field. I would not at all be surprised if a lot of our regular players are rested. I would also not be disapointed if we loose, never the less can not wait any longer for tomorow night, even though its the Tigs and the Dogs, its footy never the less!!!!
