Just a case I thought I'd bring up - In 2001/02 I think it was, there were 3 men outside the 30 metre circle when warnie was bowling to Stephen Fleming, Fleming pointed to the umpire after a ball was bowled that there were 3 men outside the circle, and the umpire called no-ball (as are the rules).
Nevertheless, Fleming was found guilty of dissent, bringing the game into disrepute and duly fined, even though the umpire was in the wrong, thus setting a precedent that despite the fact that the umpire made an incorrect decision, that does not give a player the right to remonstrate with the umpire.

Not even as the captain of the side ? Interesting.
I remember dropping hints at the umpire when i was at the non-strikers end that the opposition's opening bowler was persistently over-stepping by subtly imitating him after each ball.
It took a couple of overs before the ump began to call him. Then the canny old bugger quietly told me between overs that if I pulled that stunt again, he'd have to book me.
Didn't matter ... I was caught behind the next over.

can't remember the incident but it depends on how it is done.
if he just stood at the batting crease and yelled out and pointed to the umpire than he's in the wrong.
if he walked over to one of them and had a quiet word than i don't have a problem with that - but than i'm not the one handing down the fines...

Did a bit of both.
Walked over to the umpire and then pointed and yelled.
