Since te new season is upon us, I think its time we get our thinking hats on and predict who you think will be our leading goal kicker this year.

Who will it be and how many goals will he kick??????

P.S. I have included just about anyone who can play forward and has even the slightest chance of getting a "semi-regular" game.

My tip: Scott Welsh 53 goals :)

I'm going to go with Carey. Including our 2 finals (I'm tipping us to finish 5th) I'll go with 45 goals.

Should be Burton but he will wasted in the midfield too often.

I tip Welsh with about 35 goals.

i voted for stiffy, just because he is so durable and has missed 1 match through injury through his career unlike our other forwords:(

he is also one of the best small forwards in the competiton

only thing that will stop him is him playing more in the midfield/ defence or injury or dare i say it Welsh, Carey, Stevens staying on the paddock for 17-19 games each:eek:

I originally thought Perrie, until his game on Sunday.

There aren't too many other candidates - Carey, Welsh, Johncock or Burton if he were to play at FF.

I'll switch because sensibly Carey should play close to goal - Carey 48 goals. not that common sense ever had anything to do with our team placements!!

My tip is Welshy, 51 goals

His 50th goal will be kicked in the last quarter of the grand final, putting us in front, his 51st will seal the game!
I can dream can't I?

Would tip Welshy if he could stay fit. So going to use some reverse psychology & pick Perrie instead. Say 52 goals.

I also tipped Warney with a big whopping 60 goals for the season. This year is HIS year ;)

Its a nickname he's had for ages. The boys often call him Warney at training, and it comes up on MSN when I speak to him :D of course that was when MSN was working.... :(
