If Port are to make the finals and to be competitive in them, we need to win this game, and we need to look convincing. If we can show the football public that we can win well without Primus then we will be on our way to getting some respect.
But the way we are perofriming lately im not too sure. We are relying on Primus, Francou, Mead, Stevens too much. Its about time Stewy got a kick other than kicking out this week...i think the instant publicity may of either got to his head or has distracted him from his game a bit. Monty would want to make up for his mistakes late last week. Cornes has hopefully practiced kicking for goal all this week. Paxman will hopefully not take a line of speed before this weeks game and Tredrea will hopefully start contesting more within goalkicking range.
This is definatly a danger game. I just wonder how all the Joe Gutnick business has affected Melbournes lead up to the game and if it will distract them a bit. I hope so...but i think they are too professional for that. We NEED to win this one. It will be very interesting to see how Ackland goes rucking for a whole game or for most of it. I hope that Brogan also gets a game as well...he deserves it.
Im gonna tip Port but im still a bit unsure whether we will get up or not.
