Flagstaff Hill of the Southern League in S.A. is playing a Div 6 Amatuer League club in a trial match. Anyone want to guess how much Flagstaff will win by?
I'll post the result on here for both A's and B's.

I was thinking more along the lines of 40 goals. The Southern League is on level down from the S.A.N.F.L.

Should send the lower team over here, Lindisfarne needs a win!

Flaggys are playing kenilworth....they should win, but i think flaggys would struggle against colonel light gardens(div 7)after some of the recruits we have got :)

Ah, you play for Colonel Light, I played against them in a trial match a couple of years back. But then I saw the light and went to Flagstaff, who are my actual suburb unlike Kenilworth. The even funnier thing is they will be playing Balaklava in a trial before playing us, they obviously don't want to win a trial game. Roo, do you know Dale Wilson?

He told me when I first came to Flagstaff in 2002 that he used to play for Colonel Light, I told him I came from Kenilworth so we had common ground for discussion. He's a good bloke, not a bad C grade player either.

According to recent discussions here, we had SANFL pegged as a Tier 2 league, and Southern FL (SA) as a Tier 8.
Tier 8 sounds a bit low in retrospect, but I certainly wouldn't have thought that they were just one tier below SANFL.
Falcon, fill us in on the result, and, also, do you happen to know the relative finishing positions of Flagstaff Hill and Kenilworth in their respective leagues last year? Matches like these can be used as a pointer to fine tuning the league rankings.

We finished 12th in the Southern League, Kenilworth I think finished about 4th. What I'm mean by the S.F.L. being one level down is that S.A.N.F.L. players if not picked to play in the S.A.N.F.L. some weeks play in the A's. The reason we are playing a div 6 club is that our coach wants to win a trial game this year, the A's didn't have a win last year, though we came close to beating McLaren Vale and Blackwood. We had a few offers from Div one clubs but we didn't want to stuff Kenilworth around.

Maybe so, but it would be good preparation for the season. Would a Div 1 Amatuer Club smash the likes of Brighton, Happy Valley or Morphett Vale?

Falcon yes they would beat them quite easily
