Up to eight Richmond-list players will line up for the Coburg Tigers in their practice match against Port Melbourne at Latrobe University, Bundoora (main oval) this Saturday morning (March 6) at 10.30am.

The likes of Adam Houlihan, Chris Hyde, Brent Hartigan, Andrew Raines, Alex Gilmour, Daniel Jackson, Marc Dragicevic (rookie list) and Nathan Foley (rookie list) are expected to take part in Coburg's trial game.

With Richmond playing the Brisbane Lions in Queensland on Saturday night, the Coburg Tigers' practice match provides a good opportunity for the Yellow and Black faithful to get their footy fix this weekend, as well as check on the progress of the Club's promising 'cubs'.

I thought this was going to be about our young players becoming scholars.
Reminded me of Bulldog Robert Murphy on a show called Young Guns in 2002 talking about going to TAFE to improve his education. Host was full of praise for Bob for broadening his horizon. When quizzed about what subjects he was doing it turned out to be just one. Guitar.
