There is a new article on eye of the tiger on richmondfc.com.au.
Its a great read and i know i cant copy the whole article so for those who arent members i will give u a little sniff of what it says.
This is what he said at the end of it:
"All team's game plans undergo minor adjustments to exploit or counteract the opposition of the day. The Brisbane Lions certainly made some slight modifications to their game plan in their 2003 premiership success. So, it's a horses for courses type situation with game plans in AFL football.
We have shown at Richmond that those less committed, or not working to improve their skills under pressure, are on notice. There were 13 changes to our playing list at the end of last year, and how the players now respond will determine how many more changes are made at the completion of this season.
I can assure you that I am no less confident of where we are going as a group this year, than I was before last Sunday. We have introduced some fresh talent into the side already, and there's more to come . . .
Finally, I'd like to tell you that what excited me most about our Wizard Cup opener against the Western Bulldogs was not the victory, but how young Tommy Roach sang that Tiger theme song, and the looks on the faces of the likes of Brent Hartigan, Daniel Jackson, Andrew Raines, Kyle Archibald, Shane Tuck and Nathan Foley as they stood together on the sidelines watching intently.
I know that they will work their butts off to be in that huddle themselves one day bellowing out: "Yellow and Black" after a Richmond win.
That's what excites me . . .
