Brett Burton, with three final quarter goals, including one from the mark of the match in the goal square, won the game for the Crows tonite.

(He won the Mark of the Year twice last year but was ripped off!!)

AND took the Mark of the Year against Carlton the year before at Optus (The day Blighty circled his charges at the break with his acid tongue)

He’s my pick for the Hanger of the Year in 2001.

What a crack-jack-in-the-box excitement machine he is!

9 goals in two games …not bad for a “rookie,” who has played team lifting stuff since recovering from a knee injury.

Well done Birdman !!

And er...GO THE CROWS
:p :D

The trouble is that Burton takes so many great marks that when it comes to voting "Mark of the Year", his votes get diluted. He should win a special award for Greatest Mark Taker of the Year!!!!

The thing that pisses me off was in 99 Burton had like 3 contenders for mark fo the year, and blody lappin took it in the end!

Burton seems to take a contender for mark of the year every rd when he is "fit"

And port fans that said the birdman can only mark........has his 9 goals in 2 games changed ya opinion bout him now?

ADELAIDE FOR THE FLAG!;)
