View Full Version : Wake up Tiger Army
If Tiger supporters are calling for the head of Danny Frawley after the teams loss to St Kilda last week, why isn't Kevin Sheedy's job in jeopardy after last night??

Because besides essendons poor first quarter, they looked alright. Also they had a game plan that they stuck to, unlike Frawley who continuously changes.
Either way i am gonna give my Frawley Bashing a rest until round 1. Then i am gonna let them have it if we play anything like that crap we delivered against St Kilda.

Beg to differ ... Essendon's last quarter was abysmal too - their disposal was attrocius right until the end. Turned the ball over continuously coming out of defence - at least as bad as we were.
It was just that they also flooded their backline (there was THREE guys on Gehrig in a number of contests) that prevented a St Kilda torrent. At least Richmond TRIED to avoid all-out defence.
And their goal kicking (for want of a better term!!) at times was almost as bad as I've seen. (And it wasn't even Richo)
The only thing that saved them from a belting of 12-15 goal proportions was a very hard second quarter. That probably accounted for the 3 goal discrepancy between our deficit and theirs against the Saints ...
