Ryan has done some good things for the club, but doesn't look that good this year and may face playing for Williamstown.

Nathan Lonie has always been good, but hasn't had his chances in the AFL. But this is the year where he may be overlooked as a star Half-Back flanker along with Hawthorn's consistent Midfield and Utility players.

Previous form i would say Nathan Lonie, We'll just have to see Ryan Lonie's year and he might be selected as Trade Bait.

Nathan is a talented player, as is Ryan, but he hasnt had enough chances which is odd looking at the Hawks lists of the past couple of years. Ryan is exception in patches, his inability to play consistantly was very evident last year and he will struggle if he doesnt get back to his best. Overall, i can't decide, but Ryan has had a permanant gig so i spose he has the wood over his brother.

On last year's form you would have to say Nathan, but we know that Ryan is capable of much better and maybe this will be his year. I am happy to have Ryan in our side although a bit more input would be nice. I wonder if a run as a HFF would be more his go...

Wasn't their father, Ken, suffering from cancer last year.
That would have an immense impact on anyone's performance.
Ryan is a little bit taller. Wish he'd play tall. Not the strongest in the air when form is down. However, he's such a polished kick.

Hoping for a bigger & better year.......

Simple answer to this question is whether you would trade Ryan for Nathan in a straight swap.

IMO you wouldn't even consider it.
