I am backing Joe all the way.
Why don't you girls go to Demonology and get a broader outlook on this matter.
You won't learn much staying here and you may learn that Joe has been the best President we have had for years and years and now some supporters are stabbing him in the back after only 4 years at the helm.
If you don't vote Joe in, be prepared to merge (probably with North or relocate...the choice is yours girls.)
I know I want the Dees to stand alone.

i think Joe deserves the support..he has been good for Melb Football Club and football in general
and i think its dreadful how johnson has manipulated/snowjobbed a lot of his media contacts to stack against joseph gutnick..the media perspective on all this for the most has been anti joe when its obvious that the majority of the supporters are in support of joe
as i said earlier if joe loses on the melb vote the melb football club can choke on its own vomit the next time it keels over for all a lot of us will care..

That Bev and Szondy have not been at the club long enough to know all that has been going on...they too have been brainwashed by Johnson & Co...and also don't forget how powerful Johnson is with all his contacts...Ch.9 , the Casino, Packer, the AFL AND don;t you think Bev and Szondy could be swayed in his/ their direction!!!
The worst thing about this is the mud slinging and bias in the media re Joe...its very sad..because it can influence many supporters who really don't know the whole background.
I also think the sooner this election is over and done with, the sooner we have a stable club (but only if Joe wins because we will go back to the old ways otherwise).

My biggest shame in life is being in favour of the merger (I didn't actually vote, not being a member, but spoke with my mates about it).
At the time, I bought into the media's line that it would be the best thing for the club. Then Joe came along. I knew nothing about the bloke, but single-handedly he seemed to turn our club's (financial) fortunes around.
This time around I can vote (I just got my first membership - not for this reason, I just wanted to support my club) and I'm going with Joe.
As for the media, take everything you read or see with an extremely large grain of salt.

the media is all crap...johnson has the media rapped around his little finger...look at how frightened gary lyon is to say a word cos he knows johnno might get him the axe on channel 9..
and look at the media hatchet theyve tried to do on joe

joe has only tried to do good for the club..and the way i see it hes done more than try..hes delivered..he deserves the support
szondy is a dick..to listen to him try to carve up joe recently has been a huge embaressment to the melbourne football club..supporters aint THAT stoopid!
with the election being put off to the end of the season it seems pretty certain joe will be back with the support of the members..and good luck to him
dont listen to the bull that is being pumped out by the johnson fed media..joes a good bloke, its not about ego he wants to do what the members want to do (not the fatcats in the board like stockdale and co.)..go with joe!

And had to laugh, because it was funny if not tragic.
Szondy and Bev said that until the day the current board members decided to out Joe, everyone supported him 100%.
Surely if this was the case, they would not all have turned on him overnight.
And that Bev said there was always friendly banter and discussiond at board meetings...whereas on the Footy Show, Szondy said Joe was a dictator....which story is correct.?
They have showed themselves up.
A well planned sham!
Can we stop talking about this. I am sick of it.
