Practice match or not silly errors and poor kicking from easy shots kept Brisbane in it.

Our tackling and general physical strength at the man and the ball pleased me no end.
No doubt this was enhanced by Granty, Mitch and Harris finding some confidence.
All Pat Bowdon has to do is believe in himself and work like he did today and he will have a blinder of a season.

I beleive the game plan (or rather the execution of it) has progressed significantly since the Richmond game.

I am very optimistic about our season ahead without getting carried away.

Wasn’t it great to see the ball coming out of defence long to and beyond the centre ? Remember last year ? The Ball would start in defence on the half back flank, little kick, backwards, across the ground. Handball backwards to a player deeper in defence. Handball to a player in the defensive goal square. Handball to another just outside the goal square. Handball to a player on the goal line, dribbles through for a rushed behind.
