Despite my dislike for the animal I heard him on radio after the match and he was very good, straight sensible comments that were well thought out. Would be good as a TV commentator after his playing days are over.
Good win by the Dogs, well deserved and a fair bit of talent on show. D'Arcy looked very good.

Thanks .... I think ....

It's a pity you heard the real Libba on radio - we try to keep it quiet that he's actually a terrific guy, since the myth of his evil doings encourages opposition supporters to get along to our games just to boo him. I'll have to speak to him about the harm he is doing to his image and the club by being himself... :D

Good to have a win over u guys after a couple of years. Keep plugging on.

Yesterday was the first time I have seen Libba not on tv but at subi and I was really surprised out how short he was! Can't really see the point of all the WC supporters booing him, he didn't exactly do anything. From the times I have heard him on tv and radio he has spoken very well and despite his negative image, I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps involved in football after he retires, which I would suspect would be pretty soon wouldn't it?

Libba is 5'4" and all heart. He mostly "doesn't exactly do anything" except get the hard ball and annoy the bigger and bigger-headed so-called stars in the process. Would you want a little guy like that beating you to the ball?

He is already involved in a lot of footy outside the club, conducting clinics and coaching an under 9 team on Sundays. The kids and parents absolutely love him.

He's always "about to retire" but you can't make predictions about Libba.

I remember an old girlfriend of mine sidling up to Libba in the early '90s comparing heights and getting really excited about being taller than a brownlow medalist.
Hopefully he never retires.
