The decision to dump state based sports segments for one run out of Sydney is a joke and Angela Pippos (and her interstate counterparts) should quit the ABC.
What a disgrace! Everyone's ABC, my arse!!!!!
Ch10 should get her as a replacement for Gerard Whatley,who is leaving soon.She's the ideal fill in for Quartermain,instead of 'Hook-nose' Malthouse.
Watch the ratings for ABC news dive with this dumb decision.
This could be similar to ch7's sacking of Mal Waden all those years ago.

It's great to see female sports reporters, the more the merrier. Karen Tighe, Angela Pippos, Sam Lane, Christi Malthouse, Tiffany Cherry.
Stupid stupid decision by the ABC. Hopefully Angela quits and moves to Nine or Ten.

Tiffany Cherry should quit her job at Fox Footy, and take the big bucks on offer at Naked News. She could even read the sport if she insisted on working.

Some of the female sports presenters mentioned here are pretty good but there are also plenty of shocking ones who were probably only hired as a token gesture to show that the network is an equal opportunity employer. I know Tiffany Cherry is pretty attractive but she's not that polished in front of the camera although she is getting bettter. Sam Lane is just plain hopeless on Before the Game (even if she is a blues fan). And I can't see Angela Pippos getting a gig on a commercial network, she's probably the worst of the lot.
Don't get me wrong I'm dirty on the ABC for having their sports news come from Sydney and presented by a bloke who bagged Aussie Rules up until a couple of years ago, but getting rid of Angela was a good move, just need to replace her with a local who will cover the stories Victorians are interested in.
