This afternoon the Tasmania Devils gave NTFL reigning premier for 2002 and 2003, Burnie Dockers a 147-point belting at North Hobart Oval before around 300-people.
The Devils 28.18.186 to 6.3.39 win came at a cost with big man Adam Derbyshire doing a knee injury during the lopsided contest.
It is not clear as to how bad the injury is, or the long term ramifications of it.

We'd be in trouble if Burnie were competitive.
Will be suprised if we reach the finals this year, but perhaps it will be better off for us to stop getting ex-afl players from Victoria, as they don't stick around for me than a year basically. Good luck to them though, ya never know!

Ouch! Is that a fair indicator of State footy in Tasmania? I guess the Devils have had a much longer and thourough pre-season.

This game was always going to be a one sided match, even though Burnie are a very good side up North, they aren't anywhere near good enough to face the Devils. I doubt there is any local side that would be strong enough to compete with the Tassie Devils.
