Not a bad match for the boy. In a TCA game against Nth Hobart he has made 300 not out, before taking the ball and capturing 7/29, against a side with the likes of Marsh, Dighton, Di Venuto and Clingeleffer.

Hopefully its a sign that his bowling is getting better, because his batting surely is. How long before he pushes for a return to the national side?

Well, as long as he signs with Victoria for the 04-05 season and on, I don't mind how long it takes to get him in the national side.

This guy could be very good. Able to bowl with pace unlike a lot of all rounders, and his batting has come on during the summer.

If he can stay injury free the number 7 spot is there for the taking.

Yikes! Even though it is a TCA match...they are impressive figures.

Heard a rumour the boy is coming home. Good man.

He'll be another Queensland hero from Ipswich, following in the footsteps of Craig McDermott, Allan "Alfie" Langer and the Walters brothers (rugby league).

He even looks like a young Alfie Langer with that cheeky smile -uncanny.

He's about twice as big as Alfie. He is a big unit.

Read in the paper that it was his first ever club century (here in Tassie at least). Good to see him going on with it - something he's been trying to work on for quite a while now.

He'll definitely leave Tassie behind, expect a bidding war for his services next year. Still not convinced his back will hold out long term though, action still a concern IMO.

Fairytale stats nonetheless...
