Is it just me or has CricInfo gone ****house since it was taken over by Wisden?
It's performance website wise. I get shunted form one mirror to another whenever I try to go to it, and it's just painfully slow.

I don't seem to have any problems with it. Only when there's a lot of traffic and it gets slow sometimes. Haven't had the problems you are experiencing.
When it gets slow, I just use the USA mirror - no one uses that!

Actually the USA mirror gets a bit of a pounding from time to time, especially from expat Indians.
I find the best trick is just to vary the opening bit of the URL, so instead of usa.cricinfo.com/db/NEW/LIVE/frames/AUS... try nz.cricinfo.com/db/NEW/LIVE/frames/AUS... or rsa.cricinfo.com/db/NEW/LIVE/frames/AUS... Best to go to the mirror sites where it is the middle of the night.
Overall I'd say the response have improved significantly from 18 months ago.

Yeah - exactly what I do... I had just found the USA mirror was quite good this tour.
Best not to go on at all when India are playing Pakistan
i haven't noticed any differences since wisden took it over

Sadly the US mirror is one of the things it cycles through as I try to get to the front page. Admittedly it's always going to be slow when India or Australia is playing, but it's ****ing the hell out of me. Must be something from my end.
