India 2/356 at stumps. Sehwag 228*, Tendulkar 61*.

On things for sure, if Sehwag is occupying the crease at tea time tommorow Haydos record will be as good as extinct.

The way he bat's that holds a very slim chance of happening.

What an effort though 228 of 356 in a day from one batsman, that would have to close to a record.

Poor Chopra like in Australia got out in the 30's or 40's, the poor guy always falls short of fifty. But he always does his job of seeing of the new ball and frustrating the opposition bowlers and occupying the crease for as long as he can. A real team player that guy and he will never get the accolades or recognition as the others but India have found a real solid opening batsman.

The great man Sachan could be on his way to another test century.

How many runs has Tendulakr scored without being dismissed in test cricket now?

240 plus about 50 and 60 here, so around 350.

India seem to be showing there form in Australia was no fluke, a series win for them here would begin a great build up to there series against Australia later in the year.

Bloody wish Fox was showing this live. What excitement these two teams have put on so far.

Didn't Bradman make 309 on the first day of the Headingley test of 1930?

I mean as a percentage of a teams runs scored in a day. Bradman's 309 would surpass it anyway I think.

2/467 at Lunch on day 2. Sehwag on 292* and Tendulkar 106*. Love to be perched in front of the telly watching this!

Sehwag's 292 is a record for India in tests against all countries. 8 runs to be the first Indian to make a triple.

I would love to see this innings of Sehwag's.

India will probably end up getting 700 at the end of the day's play if Sehwag and Tendulkar stay in long enough.

Are you listening Fox Sport? You've got two channels you could have put this on.

Check out www.simgraphics.com for live scores. Way better than Cricinfo. It has animated gamecast. I had to install their plugin but I uninstalled it later. Pretty neat site.

Thats Tendulkar's 33rd Test century. Hail the master. He was, and still is, the man.

Sehwag brings up his 300 with a six!!

First Indian to make a triple. Congrats. At a strike rate in the 80's to boot. Can't wait for the highlights.

Mog

Well, Fox Sports are showing highlights from yesterday. Guess I should have looked before I bagged them too much. Still, does the word "live" mean anything?

121.4 Saqlain Mushtaq to Sehwag, SIX, 300! 300! 300! brilliant! comes down the track and lofts it over the mid wicekt fence, first Indian to get 300!

All over, he's out for 309.

India slump to 3 / 500-and-something.

Cooldude

Strike rate of 82.40, 39 4s, 6 6s... absolutely incredible.

Meanwhile, the master's on 130, might be looking for a double century of his own

Ohh what a pity:p

It is a blight on the Pakis that this little slogger was allowed to score a triple....disinterested bowling by the look of the highlights.

BTW are Shewag and Singh fu(buddies....?? the way he(singh) was carrying on leading up to the double demands question are asked:D

Don't worry, Cricket Australia will conspire with the ICC to have Sehwag's batting technique declared illegal before that can happen.

Seriously, though, great innings, and great to see an Indian batsman join the 300 club at last.

No footwork what so ever, should be declared a tail ender:eek:

380 on a perth pitch even given the opposition is like about 9000 to an Indian on yet another batsmans freeway:rolleyes:

If Tendulkar gets to his double (194* at the mo), then he'll be the 3rd player within a year to get back to back double centuries in back to back Tests.

Pedro

surprise! surprise! Dravid declares the innings and the players
walk back
Tendulakr is stranded on 194!

Very, very harsh, Rahul, could've at least give Tendulkar a chance for his double ton, he was looking for a piece of history, mate.

Just coz Dravid missed out doesn't mean Sachin should have to as well. :(

Saw a bit of the highlights this arvo. Sehwag was typical Sehwag, streaky but agressive early. Awesome effort.

Why the **** would you declare with a batsman on 194*? Could Dravid not give Sachin one more over? What is the difference between having 16 overs at them, and 15? Or 12 for that matter?

Crazy stuff.

Crazy stuff. He declared when Yuvraj got out, I'm sure he would've waited for the double ton if he didn't get out.

Pakistan 4/279, Hameed made 91.

He is the ultimate choker on the 90s, he's got out on the 90s twice in the One Day series.

WHY DRAVID... WHY?? Dravid's a top bloke too i would have thought he'd sacrifice a little of the team plan to see Tendulkar reach the double ton.

Many people would feel robbed by this decision.

It'd be an interesting thing to work out which captain has declared the most times with batsmen stranded in the 90's / 190's

Tendulkar has been undefeated in his last 3 test innings.

241*
60*
194*

I wonder how many he can runs he can make before getting out in this streak. He's up to 495 now.

The Paki's are battling a bit. 3/75 in the second dig, still 193 runs behind India.

Paki's heading for a fair innings thumping now. 5/110, still 158 behind.

Pakistanis are gone, then riots would start in the streets and effigies of Inzy would be burnt and they'd call for him to be sacked.

Pakis are still 61 runs behind, with only 1 wicket left.

How long until Rashid Latif comes out and claims this match was fixed ?

India won by an innings and 52 runs.

Yousuf 112. Kumble 6/72.

So after 5 losses and 15 draws, India finally win their first match against Pakistan in Pakistan.

1-0 up, two tests to go.

Pathetic effort from Pakistan. I expected this Test series to be a close contest, but this result doesn't auger well for a close series.

I thought the Paki bowling line up would do a better job against India than our undermanned effort, but perhaps I was wrong.
