For decades this bloke has been talked up as some genius con man, a bloke capable of selling ice to the eskimos.

Tonight Andrew Denton has absolutely owned him, shown him up numerous times, whilst Mr. Foster got tongue tied attempting to justify himself and turn it all back on Denton.

Deadset, this bloke would tell you the sun was blue if it made him look good.

Went on the show to portray himself as a changed man, yet came across as a vindictive man who is simply incapable of speaking the truth.

Good television.

Yeah I saw it too, and you're right, Denton certainly owned him! He's very good at getting the people to show their 'true' selves.

He was very hard on Foster but didn't really get into Steve Earle at all about his drug use

Seems to be acceptable to be a rock star and to abuse substances to your hearts content. Interesting.

I agree that Peter Foster was shown to be the criminal conman that he is.
Is there a better interviewer on Australian television than Andrew Denton? There may be, but as yet, I haven't seen him/her.
