Which is better? Personally I think Sunrise KICKS ASS! I love waking up to Kochie every morning. But Mel ****es me off.
Sami Lukis is one of the few reasons to get up so early in the morning. So the the today show it is.

Sunrise. I like the way Mel, Nat and Kochie work together. Mel is nice I think, doesn't take herself too seriously. Tracy Grimshaw on the other hand, judgemental and impatient. Comes from that serious journalism background. Heard rumours on the radio that somebody on Today was very hard to work with and it wasn't Steve. That got me thinking. Either her or it was Monty who was gone soon after. Anybody know what happened to Monty?
Anyway, Sunrise was up against it as Today had the ratings, came up with a different format, RosWall, scrolling marquees and next thing you know Today is following them. Grant Denyer is a pretty good roving weatherman too. Lots of fun on that show.

Last I saw him he was presenting weather on the Weather Channel on Foxtel. Good riddance to him. He gave me the ****s more than any other weather presenter in history.
For what it's worth, Sunrise is the one for me.

Sunrise at our place. I like the format and cast. Its a nice light way to start the day

Sunrise. Its good value, even if Kochie is a bit of a ****.
Today doesn't even get a look in because, like most Channel Nine productions, its a piece of **** that takes itself far too seriously. Also, Grimshaw looks far too much like McGuire to not be unsettling.

To me, Today has become to reactive to Sunrise and the relaxed mood of the hosts seems very contrived to me. Kochie basically makes the show on Sunrise.
Channel 9's news is much better though, so I normally flick over on the half hour and watch the news... & weather:D

Sunrise for mine. Tracey Grimshaw annoys the hell out of me, Steve has no sense of humour and that blond bimbo who does the weather... pathetic. And that voice!!! Christ it's just too "ear piercing" for that early in the morning. Mel and Koshie have a sense of humour and Nat is just stunning.

I like both,but CANT stand Richard Wilkins.he must be the most STUPIDIST "entertainment"reporter around.
Richard Wilkens is a real idiot. He fell for one the best April Fools jokes in History in 2000, when Adam and Will (JJJ) started a News report that Sydney lost the Olympics. Wilkens reported it on the Today show and everyone took it seriously. I've never laughed so hard. it was hilarous.

Ain't that the truth? My hubby is always groping around for the remote to MUTE sami's weather report.
But he likes Tracey, so we watch today. When he's away, I watch Sunrise. Kochie rocks, and Grant is hilarious.

I prefer Today but the fact they have Alan Jones on it is a real turn off :o . No wonder 7 are doing so well.
