well there u go. that my rendition of the club song. i was listening to the game on 3AW on the net (last 5 minutes) and its great to be a winner.

NEITA IS BACK it was all he needed. 4 goals and 15 odd touches (i dont know exact stats ok and i dont really care. he did well)

GREENY also played a great game with 4 goals.

Thommo did ok in his first game.

OMFG!!! there were these two racist little f*cks sitting a few rows behind us, giving us sh!t about being jewish!!! any ways, they were caught on camera, and the police wer standing all around us and them!!!

but any ways, that was SUCH an amazing match!!! i screamed so loud, and so did or (hehehehehehe)

After clapping the boys off, I madly raced home to watch my other boys on tele against the North Q'ld Cowboys (had a win there too thank goodness)!!

However, I tuned into 3aw and I think it was Daicos who said Melbourne is only an ordinary side who were very lucky to win tonight......I thought that was unfair...St. Kilda were really out for a win tonight and played 3 great quarters, but we piled it on in the last......does that make us a very ordinary side......a little credit where its due. Daics also added if we were playing any of the top 6 sides, we would not have won tonight.

Any thoughts Dees supporters?

I just wanna say how well i thought Scott Thompson played in his first game. At a stage in the 2nd 1/4 the ball just seemed to be dead and the play was just a shambles, and scotty came in and showed them how to do it, i thought he was magnificent for his first game!:D and matty whelan. he is such a champion. Yze was also outstanding again. to see Brent Grgic sitting on the bench was a good sight, i thought thats exactly how he should be played last night as an interchange player! i thought melbourne played SO much better when Neitz was moved to fullback, besides the fact that he got late goals, the movement of the ball was so much more cleaner. and robbo.... hes just a legend! His marks were Awesome and his goals!!! :p

if people dont give us credit and say we are an ordinary side and played nothing more than ok (i did hear that idiot on the radio) than they obviously dont know what the hell they are talking about!

the game was excellent..... tight and than just that usual burst from melbourne to seal the game beautifully! and if anybody think that 19 points behind means melbourne losing the game... well i think they dont know what they are talking about either!

besides that bloody racist man who was sitting behind us saying all this crap about jews and melbourne and going... oh you should get a german on your team (he should have had a look at the man wearing no.5 for our team!), the game was excellent!

i also think Tommo played well and while Gus was sorely missed it was a good chance for Neale and the rest of the coaching staff to see what that guy can really do..... well done Tommo!

i agree about Grgic... that idiot did so many bad things that he deserved to seat on the bloody bench... pft!

Neita did very well and i was happy to see him happy and comfortable with his footy again... we need him to play well!
Greeny and Brucey are just incredable and Whelan is a bloody ledgend i tell you.... that guy is unbelievable!!!!
Yze (the future brownlow medalist) was again prooving to be one of the best in the AFL
and Wardy, Godders and the rest of our team was just fantastic!

I did not go to the game but saw a bit on TV. Delighted to see we are back on track and pleased to see Neitz spent a little time up back. Bring on the Pies!!!

it was great. i was there. had an absolute ball. first time ive been to colonial as well. no probs getting in but then again we had reserve seating so that helps. what a brilliant last quarter. NEITA was sensational (i know someone is a very happy girl ;) ) and even tho he only kicked one goal, schwarta was great. juts his presence around the ground lifted the team, and he almost flew to take that sensational speccy. shades of the old ox. ahhh what distant memories. oh well bring on collingwood i say we will kick arse, and i will be there to see it all.
