Brosnan, Burgoyne, Poulton to play today

Well Deano went back to the SANFL all the better with an amazing Best on Ground effort for South. 28 touches for a ruckmen is fairly rare and he dominated the game. Maybe he is looking for another recall!!
Domenic Cassisi continues his good form with another strong display for West, he should be first in line for a debut come a midfielder getting injured. After a fairly unimpressive slow start, he has definatly come good and has been getting plenty of possessions and has been in the best each week. Allan Murray played arguably his best game for South. Guerra did pretty well for Centrals after getting sent back. Matty Bishop also played his best game while being in SA yesterday as well. Hopefully he can get called up.

For next week i say this should happen:
Out: C Cornes, Lyle
In: Brogan, Cassisi

they should reward the players that are playing well in the SANFL.

Macca if they drop Chad the only player they could replace him with is Lockwood, who is not in the best of form himself. Why would you play 3 ruckman when basically that all they are. You couldn't rely on Ackland or Brogan to go foward and kick goals like a Lade would. If you bring Brogan in the side it will have to be for Ackland not Cornes. I say give Chad another go he is a quality player even though you don't believe so.

I do believe Lyle must go. He simply isn't up to it. He is slow and he is just not aware of what is happening around him as it was proven again in the last quarter when he was chased down from behind and gave the ball up. Its good to see Kane was given a go last week maybe it time to give Cassisi a go or even bring back Guerra. This is the perfect time to start playing these youngsters while the team is winning.

Its hard to see how you can quickly dismiss lyle but then say Cornes is a quality player. In his three years of AFL footy, he has only played about 3 good games. 2 last year, one this year. The last three or four weeks he has been nothing but abysmal. Lockwood was playing the exact same way at the start of the year and quickly got dropped. Its time for Cornes to be put back so he can at least get a kick. He was on the ground for about 90% of the game and got 5 touches!! Same last week. He has no confidence, showed by when that ball bounced off his nose, which i reckon my 5 year old cousin could of marked.
Ackland is a half forward...he played half forward for Port reserves, he played 9 games last year at half forward/forward pocket for Port seniors. He hsowed he has potential to be another Lade up forward in the West Coast game. Brogan is also a good kick for goal. If we were considering a dynamic trio of Primus/Lade/French...why not Primus/Ackland/Brogan.
