I haven't seen the incident, so can somebody please give an honest opinion of the likely outcome of John Barker's report for striking. The Kangaroos play Hawthorn in two rounds time.

It was in a big pack and I don't think there was any vision so I guess it will come down to the umpires word vs that of Barker.

Whatever happened started a little melee and I wouldn't be surprised to see Croad reported as well, he swung quite a few, probably lucky none connected well (that I saw on TV)

Woods wood probably also get reported if he was Carey, but as he is Woods I don't think anyone will give a crap.

Id be more worried about Primus and those little 'shots' he threw than i would be about Woods, thanks Port01.

Darky, if Barks goes, i reckon it would be a week max. I think he is pretty much a 'clean skin' tribunal wise, so im hopeful it would be no more than that (actually more hopeful he doesnt go at all)!

Cheers.

I can only go by what was on TV, I wasn't at the game obvoiusly. I didn't see Primus giving out shots, but I did see Woods give him one in the stomach and then the jaw from behind.

Like I said, if it was Carey there'd be a fuss, but because he isn't nothing will probably happen.

There will be Barkers charge, and a couple of wrestling/melee type charges probably.

It wouldn't surprise me if the incident where Primus threatened to throw the ball at the umpires face (resulting in a 50m penalty) gets a closer look..........

I saw it on television and it looked pretty harmless. I don't think anything will come out of it... if he was to get suspended i think it would be a week, MAX.

Of course it was harmless.

I was just implying that if it wsa Carey we'd have a bunch of people on the main board whining and moaning about how dirty he is (like the Johnson incident earlier this year)

Personally I don't care much (although it should have been worth a free kick hehe)

Johnny Barker is the 'Smiling Assassin' :D ;)

Lets hope he gets off, he isn't a dirty player, i'm sure there wasn't much in it, they were old team mates from Fitzroy just having a little stoush. ;)
