GFC MAD!

I picked up the Looney Tunes All Stars DVD collection over the weekend.
Warner Brothers cartoons are hands down the best ever made - funny for adults as well even today, and I just had to pick this collection up.
When I saw it in the shop I at first did not want to buy it [after all - its for kids!] - but I gave into myself. These are classics - everyones seen them rerun all the time on channel 9 - and everybody loves them, and I saw no harm in me adding these gems to my DVD collection.
Fantastic treatment as well - steer clear of those $4.95 cartoon classics DVD's you find in Dimmeys and The Reject Shop - this All Stars collection gives fantastic treatment to the cartoons - restored brilliantly [the best I've ever seen them] with great extras including commentary.
How great it was to see the Gambling Bug cartoon again, my favourite Foghorn Leghorn, classic Roadruner, Bugs Bunny, and the always good Sylvester and Tweety ones. So many memories - and the cartoons are still enjoyable today.
A few favourites not included on this DVD set are the singing frog one and the three little bops [absolute classic], but that does not degrade the fantastic selection included.
I've always loved the classic Looney Tunes and am now happy I own a selection on DVD. I still remember the glory days of afternoon programming on channel 9 with the Bugs Bunny show hosted by Sophie Lee and then Kate Fischer!!
