I went to the Melbourne show last night and was pretty disappointed.
It was supposed to start at 7:45 (according to the ticket anyway), and at 7:50 this absolutely shocking magician came on for half an hour. He was getting booed left right and centre. His act ended with him in a straight jacket, which he couldn't get out of! No idea if that was intentional, but even if so, it was pretty lame.
Anyway, Steve-O finally came on around 9pm. A few minutes after, Party Boy came on, and that was it (I thought they'd have more of the Jackass crew). They got people out of the audience to do stunts with them, a lot of which was refused (such as drinking Party Boy's urine, girls going naked, etc...) They did the stapling of the testicles to the inner thigh thing, Steve-O cut his tongue repeatedly with a razor blade, they did these tequila shot things (which they then vomited up), slipped on broken glass, and Steve-O did a balancing act thing. Then just before 10, it was over.
I have seen all this stuff on his videos - and it really should have stayed there. His show translates much better to tv than it does live. It seemed very unorganised and a definite waste of money (but a windfall for him!)
But my boyfriend seemed to like it (though wished it went for longer).

I'm not exactly sure what you were expecting to be honest. I think he's funny and all, but he's been doing the same stuff since 2000, and even if he does it live, you would already have seen it before. Waste of money.
Sounds like the Tokyo Shock Boys with an obnoxious fratboy "woohoo buddy!" kind of attutide.

Went to the show at Thebarton last night. Good show, thought it might have lasted longer but we got Chris Pontius so that was a bonus. And got Steve-O's autograph on my Steve-O Vol 1 and Jackass the Movie DVDs.

The show was great! Row B rocked!
It started so late though. It got to 8pm and this moron came out and proceeded to do the worst so called music performance I have ever heard. He was rightfully chanted at to "f*** off" and given the finger by a group in front of us who were sitting in row A.
Then out came Steve-O followed by Party Boy. Party Boy tore his shirt off and threw it into the crowd and our group caught it! Nice souvenir!
The crowd surged forward which I didnt like at the start but in the end it was ok because we were up the front pretty much and didnt have any big heads in row A to block our view. Then Steve-O did all his stunts such as cutting his tongue with a light bulb,snorting salt, sculling tequila(I think),balancing knives and ladders on his head,set head on fire etc etc.
He asked this big guy up on stage who actually did everything he was asked! He sculled the tequila and then Steve-O flopped his **** out and peed in a cup and asked the guy to drink it which he did! I dont think anyone has done that in any of the other cities in Australia that Steve-O had shows in. As he drank it Party boy started peeing on the guys leg!
Then he asked the girls in the crowd to throw their bras on stage and he asked some to go up and show their tits to the crowd, several did. There were a few odd morons who started diving into the crowd from the stage. The final stunt Steve-O stapled his scrotum to his penis! Unbelievable!
The only negative was the high proportion of ferals there. But all in all it was a great night!

From the stunts, I wouldn't have picked that at all.

I was in Row B too, just down from those guys who, like most of us, after 5 minutes where sick to f*ck of that DJ....
Got my DVD signed too, god the new DVD, "PCP saved my life" is awesome and got me the "I'm not a ****, I'm a people person" Tee :p
Overall I thought the night was pretty good, bit annoyed it was so short but, never-the-less I was impressed... how cool was the balancing the knife on his nose!

Were you the girl in pink who went up on stage?
That DJ sucked! He was so annoying. I was laughing so hard when those guys were chanting "f*** off" and giving him the finger!

I did happen to see a drunken tool, bald and wearing a dark tee-shirt, he was my row for half the show, just falling over everywhere... And then near the end of the show this ****er in a red shirt and dreadlocks was pulled by secuity over chairs and dragged outside... the things you can do when you wear a yellow shirt and your IQ on your sleeve
