Mcveigh got this week nomination, third for the club this season along with henno and danny jacobs

you would have to say all three are a chance to win it, all have played pretty conistant football this year and the only other rookie to have done so is probably ryan lonie

Must say I'm pretty surprised by this! I thought that Macca was ineligable because he had played 10 games prior to this year. I would have thought that if he was going to get a nomination he would have got it earlier in the season when he played a couple of blinders.

But well done to McVeigh, he thoroughly deserves it!

I think Mark McVeigh will develop in a similar way as Adam Ramanauskas did last year. Both are similar type of players and both will be great players for the Bombers over the next decade or so.


Danny Jacobs is becoming an important player as well. He has the demeanor on the field of someone much more experienced and also has good skills.

Hille showed some potential last week taking some good marks and gaining in confidence. I am glad he was left in the side for this week even though Barnsey returns. Actually teaming up with Barnesy and sharing the ruck work could be good for the kid.

As for Aaron Henneman, well, the jury is still out on him.:rolleyes:
