Chris Grant

Played very well this week, took some great marks and stopped numerous surges into the Richmond forward line. He can hold his head up this week. Well done Chris.

Great effort :)

One of the few shining lights I reckon, although looked frustrated and disappointed at the end of the game.

I'm here.

Scott West, yet another tireless performance, at the bottom of every pack and desperately tried to lift us.

You can always rely on Westy. Sadly, the same can't be said for others.

Probably our best player for the day (him or Grant).

Great effort Westy.

Nothing to say about my boy, he wont be playing for another few weeks.
Oh there is something, they had a bit of a story about him and his injury, that was all good, but then they had a pic there as well, had his name and all, except they had a pic of boydy there :D :D :D , now how could they mix those 2 up.

I can catagorically state that Adam Morgan was at the ground.

Johno,
Running around as usual. Seems to like that H shaped movement thing where he runs both wings and cuts between them by running straight through the centre square.

Lots of running. Reminds me of that Novelty act where a performer starts spinning plates on the top of those long rods, where after spinning one, he has to run to another and starts spinning, then has to race back to keep the spinning momentum on each and every single plate, because once the momentum has sufficiently dissapated the plate falls and *SMASH*
(Only those experts never let one single plate break)

Get the message ? He's bloody good but not a miracle worker against what is usually a legion of unskillful, lazy and overpaid drunks (Richmond players).
Too much time fixing holes caused by the other players, rather then taking the offensive!!!

BTW Leon, West got a lot but gave a few away.
Consider this:
Richmond is slow and yet while we are handballing around they manage to zone back into an effective defence.
What does that say about what we were doing in the middle.
Against a strong and fast midfield we will get wiped off the park
(I predict this will happen against Stkilda later this year)

Yes, does anyone remember the last time someone actually passed the ball to him without it bouncing first. It happens so regularly that i seriously wonder if he has asked the players not to kick it to him on the full.

Guido: started forward and played probably about half a game forward and half a game inthe midfield. The age said he didnt stop his opponent bowden enough, but I dont think it was bowden who was playing half back in the first quarter, was it? (first quarter was when bowden got 12 of his 29 possessions and 4 of his 9 marks for the day)

who was playing on bowden in the first quarter, I would like to know?

At any rate, guido had a few chances but kicked points when forward, might have had an assist or three (which probably resulted in points).

Thought he did well when shifted onto the ball in the second half with some good work in close and clever disposal. Got 12 of his 18 disposals in the second half when on the ball. Bowden also got 12 disposals, so if he was playing on bowden in the midfield, he probably shaded him by a point or two (because he missed his set shots for goal).

hmm, the guy should be a finisher, when he is forward, but failed in that regard.
