If the club were thinking along the lines of a new coach,
an experianced AFL coach may not fit within the budget.
Out of all the assistants currently running around, I would go for a bloke who has achieved the ultimate on the field and off.
Someone the players can look upto, someone who never took any crap on the field, and who his respected highly amongst his peirs.
We need another Terry, It could be third Terry Lucky.
Their is only one Terry that fits the above criteria, and thats the Daniher variety.
Isn't he with the Saints this year ( they are going alright )
I think he was with the pies prior to this year ( they had a couple of good years)

I still reckon that inexperienced side + inexperienced coach = disaster

Yes, we simply can't afford disasters like Watson + Drum now. Someone like Eade or Parkin is good risk management (but obviously some inexperienced coaches do well).

I think Curly was refering to Thomas and Connelly, but nice spin there:) btw do you think St Kilda have finished paying the million dollars for the experience Malcom Blight yet?

Hasn't he been sacked at both Essendon and Collingwood?

Yes Terry, Brother of Neale, I'd go along with that.
Couldn't call them inexperienced at anything to do with football. Australia's biggest football dynasty.
I wouldn't get Eade, he seems to fit into the dumb coaches league.
Dumb Coaches League members -
Mark Williams
Gary Ayres
Mark Thomson
Danny Frawley
Paul Roos
I don't know whether or not Rhode sits on this list or not.
They have a test for 'Doctors to be' - its called the UMAT test. Sort of an IQ come aptitude test. This test is conducted separately from Academic achievement. It includes an extensive interview. It will weed out those brilliant students who would not be deemed to be good at 'doctoring'.
I wonder if they have developed one for coaches. It would weed out those brilliant players who would not be good at coaching.
Maybe have one for captains too.
But, don't have one for bigfooty posters. Otherwise I might not be here.

Rhode doesn't fit into that list
The names prior are the year 11 students that have been found out and failed theri VCE or actually VACAFL (The VACAFL Vic Coach Association Footy Losers)
Rhode is up to year 4 so he isn't even up to the right class to measure as yet!
Daniher got a cruddy c-wood forward line working well, and now that he's gone the thing fell into rubbish with the expcetion of one rule they remembered which keeps Rocca and tarrant working.
He has built a strong foundation and plan for a strong stkilda forward line.
'
Our forward line looks thin and undauting in the slightese at the moment!

Why do you reckon that? I reckon he's a lot of things, but dumb isn't one of them.
