The match is apparently being played at the Gryphons ground - East Caulfield Reserve behind the uni near Caulfield railway station.

A few of us are meeting at noon at the Rosstown Hotel (Carnegie, five minutes walk from the ground), for a countery in the public bar.

The Reds had become a bit flat in the last couple of matches, beating Bentleigh by only 20 points, and Albert Park by only 60, and this was followed by the break for interleague matches. It'll be interesting to see if they've switched back on for this match. Gryphons are a middle-of-the-road side, and are celebrating a bit of a back-to tomorrow, so they'll be viewing this match as winnable.

We cannot afford to appease them.

Hope to see yers there :-)

Hey Mobben' didn't they have their boots on the correct feet pretty ordinary kicking, unless they just blasted away willy nilly.

Thanks play on! Close match, St Johns will be good for us next week, we need more close matches. For the record, Reds reserves won 9 goals to 5.

Levo : The ground was small, eggshaped, undulating like a professional golfing green. Although the grass cover was pretty woeful, it was still solid enough to play good footy on. There were a couple of showers, but nothing special. Our skills weren't as high as they had been near the start of the year, but Reds were still quite dominant. Our kicking has OFTEN produced more behinds the goals, this year, probably because we're simply getting too many opportunities to hone in on the goalface, without enough wide-perspective game pressure being applied.
