time for change

I know it has been said that for a long time the hawks are there about and every year they take out that beloved 9th spot teasing fans as to what could be next year. But as always the start of the year is abmissmal and we are back were we were same time last year.

Now i think it is time to get tough and these players on the big money who decide to turn it on every know and then and dont play consistently should be thinking very hard about what team they are playing for next year.

As a hawthorn supporter i am sick and tired of watching Thompson, Holland, Dixon run around the field and graham may take the one the best backmen in each team but he usually gets slaughtered. I just hope that they have a great 2nd half to the season for their sake as if not they better not be wearing the brown and gold next year.

Thompson and Holland are being dealt with given their current form. Dixon needs to step-up - agreed. Graham is being servicable and doing a good job this year, he has bulked up and capable of providing a presence on bigger forwards.

But definately agree on that tantalising 9th spot. Need to make changes over the coming years. But this takes time and we have to be patient. Need to recruit and build not trade for ready made.
