I cant BELIEVE what i have just witnessed. 14th is where Melbourne are headed! With such disgraceful performance you really have to wonder what the hell goes through there minds. Losing Whelan didnt help. I wouldnt be suprised if they lost to West Coast i really wouldnt!

Where along the track did Melbourne lose all their inspiration???
I don't know what to expect from now on but 14th does look like a great comfortable possition for us! :(

it was ugly and it was depressing, but we should be used to it ... i can't dwell on this too much, but what is happening, the POTENTIAL IS THERE -
ok one bagging - robbo pick the thing up and stop being so slow
welcome back farmer - i think we should beat the coasters, but we never make things easy for ourselves do we????

ok you cant just pick out Robbo and say he is too slow and doesnt pick up the ball when the whole team was a ****!ng disgrace!! Did you not see the whole game or something?? IF you have taken any notice of how the game is played you would "notice" it takes more than 1 person to perform badly for the team to lose by 8 or 9 goals.
I didn't see the game on TV because I was at the Roos' VFL match, but believe me, you will not finish 14th.
It might not be much higher, I really don't know, but there is no comparison between Fremantle, West Coast and St.Kilda as a group, versus the other 13 teams. Those bottom three teams are so far behind, it's not funny.
Melbourne wil finish no lower than 13th, but I expect they will win a few more games and at least challenge for the top eight, even if they don't get in.
A few observations from today's game.
Our coaching staff need to have a good look at themselves.
I bet Neitz has no idea what the hell he is doing. One moment he is full forward, next his up back. Keep him in one spot and stay there.
Who the hell was on Lappin in that first quarter?
Ingerson was pathetic. Too slow. Febey was not much better. Its good bye to them. Why keep Ingerson on Lynch when he was getting thumped?
There were some obvious things to do today. One example: Robbo was wasted. His opponent was Ashcroft. I would have thought you put Robbo one out in the square to expose their lack of height. But obviously the Melbourne coaching staff have little intellect. Where was Pitt? Why bother keeping him if they are not on the ground.
It hurts to say it but Melbourne are a disgrace at the moment.

I agree. It should have been 10-11 goals.
As for Joe, if he had shut up in the first place we wouldn't be talking about it.

With the sort of Football Melbourne are playing at the moment, i really cant see them having a crack at the 8, everyone keeps comparing it to last year, how we suffered a 98 pt thrashing and responded with 9 out of the next 10 to make the gf, everyone just keeps waiting for us to bounce back and do it again, but seriously i cant see it happening 2 years in a row.
Only slightly better than last week. At least we had a go for 2 & 1/2 quarters today. Too loose, poor skills, weak tackling (Wizard excepted). Leave Broadbridge in!!!!!!!!

well dees01 Ingerson was charged for tripping Lynch so he might just be out against West Coast although i doubt it, giving the fact he has a clean record.
anyways.... all we can do is sit, wait and watch out for hopefully a better half of the season?
anybody knows where the guys are off to???
GO DEES! :)
