Who do u think is the best pup of the lot at Whitten Oval, my Pick is Robert Murphy.
It's hard to say just yet. I too am impressed with Murph. But based on the bits I've seen in the ones this year, I'd say Gilbee. That's not to say Guido and McMahon haven't impressed me - they have, I just think Gilbee has looked a little better.
But as I've seen zero Werribee games, others may be better qualified than me to judge.
And I have not included Hahn and Penny in "the kids" as I view them as clear regular senior players now.

Biased:
Danny Giansiracusa -- purely because I was a year ahead of him at high school and Gia's my only claim to fame! :D
Unbiased:
Have to agree with K9-54. I hadn't seen much of Gilbee until Saturday's match, but he really impressed. A couple of smothers, hard at it, balanced and you really notice each possession he gets.
Although McMahon has only played a couple of matches for the seniors, I reckon he's got a huge future ahead of him. An absolute bullet and all class! He'll take the competition by storm in a few years once he develops a little, IMO.
Murphy is also very unlucky, and isn't too far away from the rest of them.
When was the last time we were looking at so many youngsters doing so well? 94/95 with Johnno/ Westy / Smith / Darcy ?
Fantastic aint it?

Went to my GP today:
WWB: Doc, I know it sounds strange, but recently I just cannot
stop salivating.
GP: I see, hmmm, let me see...are you by any chance a
Western Bulldogs supporter?
WWB: Actually yes, but....
GP: Well then, it's totally understandable. I mean, just look at
your list of exciting young prospects. Guido, Penny,
Murphy, Hahn....Why just this morning I had to perform a
slagectomy upon a gentleman who lost 9 litres of spit after
Gilbee kicked a goal against Geelong. But there is one
way of confirming the diagnoses.....Look at this picture
and tell me what you see.
WWB: Um, that's Luke Penny reaching high over the top of
Wayne Carey to pull down a ripsnorting screamer.
GP: Uh huh, well no, it's actually a picture of Britanny Spears
full-frontally naked.
WWB: So, my saliva problem is directly related to the Bulldogs hot
list of young talent???
GP: Yes, and combined with your group of established stars,
I'd say that the Bulldogs should 'expectorate' as
Premiership contenders for years to come...ha ha ha ha...
WWB: I don't get it...

I understand that the kid that they are truly excited by at the footy club is Nick Bruton. The only problem is injury. The kid has some back/knee problems but if he can get over these, he could be anything.
The current crop's vintage though will be Guido. The kid is all class.

I reckon "Jock" should get a run for this guy's nickname along with Guido. My next best is a lineball between Murph, Gilbee, Penny, McMahon, ........
