Is it just me or does anyone else have a problem with the huge orange BankWest logo on the front of East Perth's jumper?
I mean small sponsor's logos are one thing, logos on the back of a jumper or on the shorts are another, but a big logo on the front of the jumper, that contrasts so obviously with the club's colours? That is going way too far. East Perth FC has reached a new low in a footy club prostituting themselves. This famous club that has produced many great champions and is believed to be the most heavily supported WAFL club deserves a lot better. East Perth are supposed to be blue and black, but now it looks more like they are blue, black and orange. What kind of a precedent could this set? It sucks I say.

It is fine. No other club where's royal blue and black so what problem is there with it? For the matter of fact if 'orange' is including in our colours no other club has orange in there jumpers either.

There is an example of what the types look like.

No problem with that one logo - but the 4 other patches and the number do clutter the jumper up a bit. Are those other patches all sponsors?

Yeah the three of those logos are sponsers and the other logo is the Belt Up logo which i think every team has to wear.

Looks skithouse.
Walking advertisement boards. I understand we need the sponsership, but it has taken over the traditions of the jumper.
A sad decline is our WAFL

The question I have is how much more revenue does each little patch of advertising add? It reminds me of people in the city begging for change, perhaps they might score enough 10c pieces to buy that bus ticket.

The Bankwest Logo could be a little less obtrusive, but the patches above it makes it look like a billboard rather than a guernsey.
Worst one I saw was Northern Bombers (Nth Launceston) in the final year of Statewide football here in Tassie. They had that many patches and logos on thier jumper it looked rediculous in the end.
Also remember the Burnie Dockers jumper had a whole stack of them, as well one even across the back of thier shorts apparently.
Done tastefully, it looks fine.

Quite ironic:-
Bankwest, "the bank that doesn't live here"
East Perth, "the team that doesn't live there and imports its players".
Come on the Black Ducks.
