There's plenty of people out there that are quite stupid. For example I know an 18 year old girl (also blonde ;) ) who needed confirmation that Jesus was "the guy on the cross" and a 25 year old bloke who hadn't heard of the terms "high brow" and "low brow", who then proceeded to call me a liar and claim that I made up the terms.
These are just every day people walking freely amoung society. One day, they may hold some sort of position of power, scary huh?

Yeah, I had a friend who asked me, amongst others, the following things: 1. Are unicorns real? (and of all things, this was in a Biology class.) 2. Where was the Vietnam War? (Like before - this was in a History class...) Redhead though.
Or the chicks in my Physics lab who couldn't get their sound machine thing working (and they are all blonde). Tried and tried, concluded the machine was broken. Asked the demonstrator. Wasn't turned on.

The above couple of posts are awfully confusing.
We all know people that aren't bright. People that we went to school with, exes etc, and thats where I've seen quite a few ditzy fools.
One ex, thick as two planks, really couldn't provide any conversation that was interesting, got better conversation out of my younger brother. AND..... She didn't know anything about sport :eek: :eek: :eek: (Black Hair)
People I used to go to school with, worst was a chick (blonde) who shook a test-tube... Without anything stopping the chemicals from exiting... Fun lesson that one :D .

Ohh, science classes always bring out the idiots...
Had one guy, in Year 8, who left a gas tap on for probably 20-30 minutes. Nobody seemed to notice the gas smell. Anywho...he lit a match, and boom...the whole wall went up in flames, as did the fish tank. :D

In Grade 11, a fella put the razor from a sharpener in an electric socket, and later on he aimlessly flicked the switch... A circuit shorted and a whole heap of windows broke... Funny stuff, no-one did anything about until they got sick and tired of copy-cats :D

I didn't say all blondes were ditzes (sp?!), and neither did I say all 'ditzes' were blonde. I don't believe all blondes are ditzes at all. And further, I wouldn't call myself one, whatever colour hair...
My point was that, that day, they really didn't do a lot to oppose the blonde stereotype. And I always find it amusing when people live up to stereotypes, particularly ones like 'blondes are bimbos.'

I saw it too absoultley stupid she seemed excessively stupid. Perhaps she was just acting stupid? Although technically as she was on the Letterman show she wasn't actually "in Australia". There are some real dumb people around thats for sure and it aint just restricted to the young teenagers. I think people are going to have to wake up to the fact some just aint that bright and it aint just restricted to blondes.

I think it's fantastic. I had been lead to beleive that as you get older your job will be lost to younger people, this cult of youth. However with so many stupid people out there like that, there is far less competition in the job market.

Reminds me of one of my sister-in-laws stories, she was buying a cross necklace for a friend, and the jeweller asked her if she wanted a plain one or one "with that little man on it"...
