That was Eaglesflyinghigh.com who made that statement. If we are mediocre, then god help Wet toast football.

You had better hope this thread is still here when Collingwood lose. Ben Cousins must be embarrassed knowing he is playing in a side full of turkeys. The only player from the weagles who could be bothered turning up to play.

Um I thought Gardiner did well in the ruck but yeah, pretty much a lone hand by Cousins.

The answer is simple. We are playing lamentable footy whilst the Pies are playing good footy but nowhere near as good as Essendon.
I have to admire the way players such as Clements and Holland who were erratic and poor players at Freo have developed into handy Pies guys. It speaks volumes for Malthouse and the imprtance of a good coach.
btw...beat Essendon in the GF and I'll cheer for you
