View Full Version : Well, that was a nice old touch up
Stuck with them for a qtr & a half, then blown off the park. Too many spectators when they put the foot down.
I said four weeks ago that the jury was still out, well unless we can convincingly beat melbourne and north, they'll be back with bad news.
Not that it matters too much, no matter who they play on GF day, Brisbane will win it with a leg in the air. Damn they are good. B@stards.

That first quarter was f***ing sensational football. They dominated and toyed with us after that. Very disheartening, and to top it off Rioli and Wellman will be missing for a few, with Fletch and Pev on report. Lovely, just f***ing lovely.
Stanton is going to be a gun though. Loved the way he played. About the only positive after quarter time.
I can't imagine anyone but Bris winning the flag after tonights performance.

True. But only because they're allowed to be.
We played some damn good football for a quarter and a half. And then we just stopped. Tonight was do or die...and we certainly didn't do. *sigh*
Well this puts things into perspective.
No better than 4th this year. We sure as hell aren't going to beat melbourne, and have our injury worries with Rioli gone for a few and wellman, though he didn't do to much during the last few weeks.
North will beat us after the break.

Showed for 20 minutes that we can beat them, but we fell asleep. Drop Hille and Henneman! NLM and Stanton only posiitives.

what do you expect playing against a team with 3 brownlow medalists playing in the same team for more than 5 years together...
