I watched most of the game. He kicked 4 majors. Seeing him again brought back terrible memories of 1996, when I was asking myself the great philosophical question 'Why doesn't Hargreaves ever chase anyone?'

I thought he was a real prospect, won a couple of games for us V Geelong at Kardinia and V Carlton at Optus. Injuries and Ive heard alternative lifestyle choices got him. I herad he trained with Port pew season , he is the leading goal kicker in SA in a team which hasnt won agame !

Agree with you there jboyar. He was a prospect. Didn't he once kick 13 goals in a ressies game? But he always seemed a bit lazy to me. He could REALLY turn it on for a quarter or two every few weeks, but lacked a work ethic. Keenan Reynolds and Stuart Wigney were perhaps in the same category.

He did kick a bag in a reserves prelim final 12 or 13 from Centre Half Forward. As for his work ethic he was very young and this could of been added to his game , big marking key forwards dont come along too often.

38 games 62 goals.

Wigney was a disappointment , played a game for Victoria , and then went downhill.
I thought Reynolds was a solid performer for us at both ends of the ground , played a sensational game on Loewe in the 92 final , got a big opinion of himself and went to North for the money they got 12 games out of him , he always seemed to be on thew bench.played 74 games for us in 5 seasons.
