I'm looking forward to getting my ordered copy of the above release, should be delivered here tomorrow.

Supposedly it is only available through EzyDVD

Anyone else here keen on the visceral delights provided by the original "Evil Dead", which was made back in 1979. (damn, time flies)

Be wary of these supposed special packaging sets available only through EzyDVD.

More often then not, people are disappointed.

I love anything with Bruce Campbell in it, even Congo...

It rocks

Gotta love a mutilation movie that mutilates for its own sake

That pencil in the ankle has just gotta hurt in a big way

Already have this Chris (from DVD Realm) and although it's a bit cheesy, it's well worth having simply for the fact that it's Evil Dead.
Great commentary by Campbell.....he's a funny bastard.

The Evil Dead scared the living schizen out of me when I saw it many years ago. Haven't seen the sequels. How do they compare bearing in mind that a lot of sequels are disappointing.

Another movie from years ago that scared me was one of the stories in Creepshow 2(?). The one where a woman driving home late at night knocks over a hitch-hiker/vagrant and keeps driving only to see him again further down the road and knocks him over again and again, finally she smashes him into the wall of her garage and he keeps saying "thanks for the ride laaaady". Gave me the creeps!

the sentence "this is my boomstick" still makes me laugh for some strange reason all these years later.

Just bought my brother 'Evil Dead 2: Fist full of boomstick' on Playstation 2 for my brother - not a gift to be taken seriously but great for comedic value :D
