Well what a surprise...Noffke has been selected to replace Bracken in the Ashes squad....is there any remote chance that the selectors will stop looking solely at people from Queensland and NSW? What does Matthew Inness have to do to get a look in?

Yeah, but why does Bichel, Kasprowicz, Cook etc always get a go before Inness?

GOALden Hawk - Simon Cook isn't a Queenslander. In fact I'm fairly sure he's from Victoria but then changed across to New South Wales - or vise versa.

I thought the whole idea of taking Bracken along was to have a left-armer in the squad...yet he is been replaced by a bowler who is very similar in style to every other fast bowler bar Fleming on tour....I not saying Noffke didn't deserve to go...but Inness will have to move north of the border before the selectors notice he exists.
I thought Noffke & Bracken were both in the original squad picked.
