I just find it pretty ironic that when the crap his the fan at Richmond its always us eating our own yet when the exact problems are at Hawthorn in the same season mind you its not taken with the same point of view... only hawks are under fire :o
look at the similar situations
Supporters of both clubs want their coach sacked
Both teams have been quite pathetic
both teams boards are under pressure
so where is the media beat up jumping all over Hawthorn ???

you only have to read their footy forums and they are just as disgruntled as us.

not to mention last night on the footy show where bolton accused the collingwood cheer squad of spitting on paul williams.

Here are some differences
They are ok financially whereas our financial situation is perilous.
*Dicker has more respect in the football world than Casey.
*Crawford has more than Campbell although i dispute that.
*The media feel the board at hawthorn is more behind Shwabb than ours are behind Frawley.
*They have Dermott in the media always able to put a spin on things.
One good thing though.
At least we didnt come out and say that we could win the premiership this year.
Schwab has a year on his contract whereas Frawley is out of contract. They MIGHT replace their coach, we WILL.
Hawthorn have finsihed 9th or better in 4 of the last 5 years. Richmond have finished 9th or better in 2 of the last 5 years.
Hawthorn fans have not taken up a petition to call for an EGM.

And the Hawks are less prone to eat their own !!
Just spend an arvo on Punt Road End ...
I guess the Tiges are the best at eating our own - history has shown that.
Other teams just seem to sit back and quietly implode, and then taken action at the last minute. Although, the Hawks seem to behaving a lot more like us lately - not sure that's a good thing to follow our lead.
And the reason they focus on us is we "rate" better than other clubs when it comes to infighting. Everyone seems to get a kick out of the annual Richmond stoush.
Is never boring at the Tiges.
