Noticed in the Sunday Times this morning that Luke Webster returned to the game via the Twos for East Perth and was among the best.Lets hope he stands up and makes his way back into the big time.If he comes back then with he and Gilmore it makes hard work for Shawnie Mac to find his place back in the team.
It must have been a soul destroying experience for Shawnie to have to carry the Gummies yesterday. To his credit he had 35 touches which shows that he has what it takes to continue on in the big time. Some may have spat the dummy but not Shawnie.Good for him.

I hope he gets back in the seniors soon coz we need a tough nut like him back in the side. I'd preffer Webster in than Shawnie Mac.

Spot on and his performance is what I expected.
Luke Webster is pretty good, but I think Macca has the score on the board and you know that he will give 100%.
People please don't write of Macca, he aint finished yet.

Macca has benifited by having a spell. IIRC he has played every game (including all the practice matches) up until the Richmond one unlike some of the "Gold Pass" holders.

At least McManus is sound and unlikely to break down, you'd have to say the chances of Webster being a long term player are seriously doubtful.
Unfortunately I believe McManus is already earmarked to be traded along with several others who unlike him dont give their all for the cause and wont be missed.

Trading McManus.. would be weird seeing him play for anyone other than the Dockers, doesn't seem right.
He racked up 35 odd possessions on the weekend didn't he? Couple more games like that and someone isn't going so well in our team he -should- be brought back in. Connolly seems to have given up on him though.
