I seem to recall that there were going to be changes made to the PSD so that the bottom side did not necessarily get pick 1 in the PSD. If I am correct, will the rules changes apply in the next PSD?
This could become really important to Richmond as it would mean that we could obtain first choice of any fallout.

My understanding was that this is only what people are suggesting should happen but I dont think the AFL has set anything in place for it to happen as yet.

It has already been and gone. Was bought in to prevent the bottom club hijacking someone out of contract.
The lottery happened for 1 PSD, maybe 2.
AFL players association brought an end to the lottery either last year or the one before as they said it inhibited a players negotiating power.
Ironic what then happened with Rawlings. If the lottery was still in place this deal could never have been done.
