Here's one.

Watching the Sydney/Collingwood game last Saturday, I'd be very surprised if Neon Leon (apparently he hates that name) was going around at Pie Park next year. Too many opportunities - too many disappointments.

Fly McCrae is pulling the pin as we all know. We're not exactly neck deep in crumbing forwards as I write this.

Do you think Leigh would fancy his chances at rehabilitating him as a defensive forward pocket?

Please don't would be all I can say.

The last thing we need is a player who goesa missing when it counts. Can't think of one on the current list who would fall into this category, so bringing one in would be a huge mistake.

No!

I think some people would say that they'd prefer Mercuri if it was out of Davis and Mercuri.

I swear, Mark will be a good asset for us. We can get 4 good years out of him.

Between the likes of Caracella, McGrath and others, we seem to have enough QUALITY replacements for McRae, rather than having to enlist a player like L.Davis, who is playing out of his division.

Cupido would be good to get back.

I'm not saying we should definately get him. I'm just saying, I think he'll be on the block and probably going pretty cheap.

I'm pretty sure he's not that different to Johno at the same age. Whether he makes it will come down to whether he ever gets his head right.

At the start of 2001 Johno wasn't an automatic inclusion at Brisbane and was older than Davis is now. Leigh (or life) sorted him out.

Collingwood was reasonably happy to see the back of Big Mal. Leigh sorted him out too.

As for Fly replacements, Ash hasn't been able to find the ball in the forward half and Caracella plays pretty tall for a crumber.

Johnson showed the ability, from very early on, that he was capable of dominating in games.

McGrath is still a young player, developing his consistency. He's had a few lean games recently, although, let's not forget his performances up forward at the end of last season, along with some good games earlier this year.

For mine, he's played enough good games as a forward crumber, to suggest that he is a very promising prospect for the future.

Caracella has reasonably good skills at ground level, and looked to have made significant improvements in the physical side of his game earlier this year before injury.

Leon Davis is nothing more than a hack.

Give us something better than a 16th round draft pick and he's yours. Hell, we'll even throw in Ben Kinnear for free, seeing as we can't delist either of them due to signing them to two year deals last year!

I'll give you a pie, a can of coke and packet of smokes. Even that seems a bit generous to me :p

McGrath was in absolute fine form late last year. His round 22 perfrmance was as good as any I have seen. I think he picked up a 9.5 out of 10 from the B&F voting comittee. This score has only been given twice ever, the other to Blacky in 2003 GF.

Ash is young and given the opportunities hopefully be a 200 gamer for the club.

Leon Davis is rubbish. Not required and not worthy of the Lions talent and standard. Not worthy of even considering.

True. Plus, why move to Denmark to ride the pine when they've already got personalised seats here.
Leon must love goin to the footy. He gets in for free, gets to sit with the players and watch the action at ground level. If only all spectators had it so good :p
