It has been mentioned before that players coming back from longer term injuries should have a run in the twos, and I agree with this. At least one game.

But what about Lynchy?

Leigh says he has yet to have a kick, and has only just started running again in the last week.

Would you bite the bullet and play him?

Yes!

Playing Richmond and Bulldogs is like playing in the state league.

All these 4 should play this week to give them senior match fitness. It will be no different if they play in the AFLQ.

Hart, McRae, Lynch, Caracella.

I think they all should play in the ressies this week. They can get the match fitness they need in the lower standard games and be fully fit and useful when they come back.

in a word - No
Why risk re-injury against teams we should and will beat????

I Agree 100% with campbell - give them a week in the ressies(or rest) & play them against the Bullies!

Lynchy should not be out in the ressies. That is a waste. He is just as likely to get injured there as in a seniors game.

Lynchy is definitely a different case to the rest. He doesn't need the miles in his legs to perform his role. I doubt there's much to gain from playing him this week if he's at all questionable.

We need him on a good, solid preparation for finals. If we risk him now and then lose him for another month we'll be struggling to get him in touch by September.

Straight in when he's right.

I'm not going to quote xplo's post all over again, but I completely agree with it too!
