Of course we are a chance, it's at Subiaco but it will not be easy as Geelong play Subi well. You can't find an advantage because at the moment we don't really have one against Geelong who are in great form.

I'm not sure at the moment, maybe when the teams are in I'll have a better idea but regardless, the Eagles will have to play close to their best to win this one.

With the week off I expect Geelong to come over here refreshed and full of confidence. We will have to be at our best to beat them. Confidence isn't something you can manufacture, you either have it or you don't and at the moment we don't have it.

of course we're a chance. In fact, because of the subi thing we'll probably start favorites.

I do think this is a much tougher assignment than our last two home games- Geelong are close to the form side of the competition at the moment, and getting over them will require some real mettle- to be honest, this is probably the first home game since Sydney where a win would actually mean something.

I think the biggest thing we have in our favour actually our perceived weakness- that we don't have a key forward capable of kicking a winning score. That means that even if Scarlett or Harley do as good a job as you expect them to on the key forwards, we should still get a decent score out of Sampi and Matera.

Ironically it was Haynes that made the difference last year.

It would be good (for us) if you blokes could jag this one.

I don't think his 2 kicks, 1 handpass, 1 mark and 1 goal were all that telling. I thought it was more Chad Fletcher and Philip Matera who got us up for the draw.

He took a couple of good contested grabs kicked the sealers in the game at Subi.

1 contested grab.
1 goal.
Just 2 posessions (uncontested) in the last quarter.
14 players had more impact during the game than Haynes.

Have the match report right in front of me :)

Haynes and contested grabs don't belong in the same sentence I'm afraid.

Why is everyone predicting doom and gloom. We havent been the best this year but we are still more than solid at home and should win. Ill pick us by a few goals, were certainly good enough. A lot of you seem to be losing faith?

Might have something to do with the coach scapegoating our most experienced defender. We are no chance.

Where is your faith now?

I knew we would win, we are still a very good unit at home and only Port Adelaide have beaten us here this season.

Note : I dont count derbies as both teams are at home.

...and I knew that our performance would be ordinary - seems we are both right.

My faith is where Woosha put it 9 games ago versus Carlton, and hasn't looked like emerging yet.
