sept 1 2004.....fly on the wall in Millers office
well as we expected , inundated with applicants.....
The usual suspects in Brian Royal and Mark Harvey submitted applications which made pretty good paper aeroplanes.......Oh sumich was interesting , his application came in handy when i got another dose of the ol trots when I realised "who wants to be a millionaire" become a daily show.......
Now eade or wallace.....
I think wallace is the overall package that RFC need....had a team playing intense footy week in week out at the level that makes finals appearances a reality and will also be benficial for sponsorship and promoting a weatherbeaten club in a positive fashion.....
Eat'em alive in 2005 (ive been waiting on that for 10 years)

Dont laugh at the Sumich application.
You can do alot better than that!!!!!!
Mick Mcguane is every year hassling clubs for a position.
Phil Carman still hasnt given up on a position in coaching.
Warrick Capper comes out every year and displays some desperation to get a job in football in any form that will take him.
I wouldnt mind seeing some of the applicants that they get.
A few laughs in there, thats for sure - they should be made public.
Im a Wallace supporter.
As far as eating them alive as early as 2005.....no way.
What we can look forward to is them all learning to hunt again.
Watch the huge improvement with Wallace.
Finals in 3 years.

Odd as it may sound, Capper would be a far more preferable option than Carmen. Phil's just plain terrible.
As for McGuane - doing great things at Gisborne. Extremely good country league coach. Actually went and heard his 1/4 and 3/4 time addresses on Saturday as a matter of fact, although he speaks very quietly. But he needs to get on the assistants roster for an AFL club for two or three years before he could be taken seriously.

Id also recommend alcoholics anonymous and while he's at it stick around for the gamblers group also.....sure he's a great country coach..in reality the last type of fella that should be around an AFL club with teenagers been flushed through the system

That is odd.
Capper is far worse than Phil Carmen.
Phil has tried to mend his ways and comes across as a decent guy.
As for Capper. Embarrassing interviews and threatening under age football coaches. His application would be the more amusing.
Ill admit Mick McGuane didnt deserve to be put in with those two as he is having success like you said
but previous reputation may prevent anything coming from it.
With Capper his present reputation is the problem.

You obviously haven't been brought up to speed re: Carmen's recent coaching expeditions in the Bendigo League.
Horrendous.
At least Capper knows he's a twit.

I honestly dont think Capper has any idea that he is a twit.
He really seems oblivious to how he comes across.
Coaching poorly is not a crime as it can be the lack of players that can be your undoing.
But Capper is his own undoing.
I couldnt stand WAZZA but in the last few years he's definitely made me laugh.
Idiot!:D

Yeah but AT him not WITH him.
Still a laugh is a laugh.
What was it that made you laugh the most - getting upset about not getting into the TOC for Sydney or thinking that everytime he drops his pants that he is hilarious.

The fact he'll do anything for a laugh.
He's quite camp when he carries on, on th field
Just the fact he's clueless is the funniest part of it all for me.
He'll be around until were in our 60s being the same rodeo clown he is now
