Is anyone from here going to the player revue on Sunday night?
We were hoping to go this year but won't be back in town in time tomorrow night.
I wonder if anyone is running a book on there being a Footy Show skit and a pretty decent send up of Eddie being in it?

come on peoples it's been 4 days, surely you have been able to pull yourselves together again and give us a report on the "revue". First one I've missed in many years so hanging to find out what Fly got up to this year.
God I'm gonna miss him when he goes, he truly is a comic genius.
After seeing last year's I was hoping to get a review of the revue as well. Actually it's been quite quiet here in general - where is everyone?
The Revue
It was pretty good - better than some and maybe not so good as others.
"The Footy Show" scored quite well (27). Quite surprising really as the young "guests" didn't have much to say. Leppa & Aka & Mal were OK as usual.
Fly & Vossy's "Australian Idol" was good and they won the night. Fly was great as Fly Sebastian while Vossy did a creditable Shannon ??? (what's his name - I didn't ever watch the real thing).
Dyl, Nuxy, and a couple of others did the Wiggles - AO which wasn't bad - Dyl's dance at the end wearing the G-string was interesting, to say the least.
A cameo appearance of Lynchy as "Alice" - Miss Australia (World?) 1985 (or thereabouts) helped the "Miss World" skit. Beau & Lukey did a creditable job as the compere and Miss Lebanon (the previous Miss World) and all the "Miss World" entrants were pretty good (can't remember all the names, so won't mention any - maybe someone else can give a rundown).
Blacky, Possum, Mal, Nuxy and ??? did "The Operation" which was a sillouetted "gender change" operation. I felt sorry for the poor puss(y) which ended up in a very undignified position.
Can't remember much about the others - I know Dyl got into a dress (twice?) but what's new.
As usual, Champs did a good job as Compere (but only gave us a line or two of Khe Sahn and wouldn't be pushed for more).
Sorry if above is a bit sketchy, but if I'd seen this on Monday I may have remembered a few names - as it is, I've got CRAFT.
