View Full Version : Bree back in Big Brother

Fall Out Boy

Yes, sadly it's true.

The people that tally the votes (why on earth would one waste 50c on such call?), admitted that they stuffed up the votes last night, and thus evicted the wrong person.

Channel 10 gave Bree the right to return to the house, and she has agreed to do so.

Another week of the slapper for all of us. Yippee.

Genuine human error, or yet another cynical ratings grab?

Fall Out Boy

Oh and by pure coincidence, they announced a double eviction for next week (before last nights eviction).

Apparently Big Brother can't count, and Bree is going back into the house tonight and there will be another eviction on Thursday,

5 Jul 2004, 12:36
According to the 'News' update that was just on TV (yes channel 10 'NEWS') she will be going back in Thursday.

My guess is it' is intentional ratings grab.

And surely she now has an advantage as she will have an idea of 'outsiders' perceptions....

Then again, she has no chance of winning, a bomb would need to hit the house and kill all housemates barr Bree for her to take the dosh..

Something that may not altogether be unrealistic.. I wonder if Monica's boyfriend knows a thing or two about explosives...hmmm

I'd like to know how many people actually bother to vote.

Do they release that sort of thing at all or would it be too easy to manipulate for the public and too embarassing for ten?

you can ring up nova and get them to place a vote for you, so in that sense you only waste the cost of a local call (if you still pay for local calls that is)

Are they still doing nominations tonight as normal? What if all the votes go to the person who should have been evicted last night & will be evicted on Thursday? And does that mean Bree is excluded from nominations - so she cannot be up for eviction this Sunday??

Wouldn't you call that a monumental stuff up. Well Done Channel 10 to try and get more ratings.

Well that's a first that the votes were miscounted...how interesting..

Doubtful. Maybe its because there are housemates that send you to sleep like Catherine, Trevor and Wes still in the show.

I heard that she would Go Back in tonight at 7:30pm and there would be an EXTRA eviction of the 'Real' evictee from last night on Thursday ....

she can fully play the game now

i wonder what she does know about outside the house. What i hope she DOES know is what the public think of monica and mby do somthing about it - she has to be exposed for the manipulative b*tch she is especially to ryan befor she hurts him even more!

she can fully play the game depending on what she does know as she has been in lockdown since 11am

Further to that, if nominations proceed tonight and Wesley is one (and presuming its him who comes out on Thursday), then the other 2 nominees are left to be evicted Sunday! BB would want to hope that there are at least 4 nominated tonight.

And yes I would say that means Bree is safe this coming Sunday (when she would no doubt have gone otherwise)

From Big Brother's offical website

Human error in the voting tally last night saw Bree incorrectly evicted. Tonight she will re-enter the house and on Thursday the housemate who should have been evicted last night, will be leaving the house. Below is the full press release on the issue from Network Ten and Endemol Southern Star.

"Human error by Legion Interactive - administrators of the voting on Big Brother - resulted in Bree being incorrectly evicted from the Big Brother house last night.

Legion advised the error upon completion of its regular post eviction audit of voting. They have accepted full responsibility, and have undertaken to ensure something like this cannot occur again.

Endemol Southern Star, the producers of Big Brother, and Network Ten are very disappointed that this has happened and wish to reassure viewers that all possible steps to rectify the error are being taken.

Kris Noble, executive producer, Big Brother, said: "The most important thing is human error cannot be allowed to deprive Bree her chance to win the $1m prize."

Bree has elected to return to the house and will do so this evening in a live program at 7.30pm (AEST).

David Mott, general manager - network programming, Network Ten, added: "We are as disappointed as everyone that this has happened but believe everything that could be done to set the situation right has and is being done."

To ensure no unfair advantage, Bree has been under "lock-down" since 11pm last night and will be under the same strict rules not to discuss anything she has heard or seen in the few hours she was outside the Big Brother house that have applied to intruders Monica and Violeta.

On Thursday in a special one-hour show at 7.30pm the housemate who actually received the most number of votes will be evicted in a live program. That person's identity will be ascertained as a full and independent audit of the voting tally is completed over the next few days.

Voting for this week's eviction won't commence until after Thursday night's show. The two housemates with the most votes will depart in the previously announced double eviction show on Sunday 11 July."

Hopefully it will be Cat and Monica!

how rigged is this show? i can't believe how contrived it all is. gretel telling viewers who and how to vote. BB making the rules up as they go, depending on ratings. all the secrets and lies.

i hope wes' family do take it to court.

the best thing to happen would be for al qaeda to bomb the whole dreamworld site.

Conspiracy I tells ya. My sister rung up to evict Bree, but it was engaged.
My order for who I want out > Ash, Cat, Bree. Then the rest can raffle it, except Ryan or Paul who I want to win it.

5 Jul 2004, 18:48
So now they're going to evict 3 people within 74 hours?

From what I heard they're just recounting last week's votes, not having a new vote so I don't know why that would take 3 days

I watched some of this show tonight. I like how BB said to the housemates:

"Bree is back in because we counted the votes wrong and someone else should have been evicted. Once we tally up the votes and work out who should have been evicted, we'll evict them"

Question: If they knew Bree didn't get the most votes, then they must know who did.

I have no problems with them doing this to head-fcuk the inmates, but why do they have to lie to the public? What's wrong with just telling the public that it's a ploy to create some tension and unsurety within the house.

I like how they called ashalea into the diary room and she came in, sat on the chair, and then when BB adressed her by name she had this puzzled look on her face as if she was surprised that her name was called out. She's got to be twice as dumb as Ryan and Ryan is really really dumb.

Since the amount of votes tallied are never given, only 'percentages', no-one would have known outside of the control room that a mistake was made. The fact that its on tv and radio news makes me wonder about 'free' publicity for a boring show.

Why did the powers that be choose so many people with partners outside? Nothing was EVER going to happen in the house.

Yep.

And they get Mike Goldman to complain that they're all asleep when up-late is on.

They should let the public vote on who goes in next year, rather than who goes out. Then I might even vote!

Why do the public always go for fence sitters who lack personality? I can't remember what the guy's name was who won the second one, but the public got played. How people didn't see through him is beyond me.

I know what you mean.

Trevor has done his best not to offend anyone...get some personality boy! If he wins it'll be a definite shame.

I don't think Wes will win however, I expect him to go this thursday. I hope Monica leaves soon too.

The situation with Bree: ratings ploy or not, it certainly makes things more interesting.

Trevor has to be the most BORING housemate that is popular. A few pranks earlier in the show do not justify his popularity.

I noticed Bree's popularity is at its greatest now that ever b4 according to their website

what a joke

I cant believe a girl who does nothing but talk behind ppl's backs but pretends to be their mate could be so popular.

the show has lost it.

wesley will go thursday,

monica and catherine will go on sunday.

this show is so obvious.

must be single, never married, no kids, in your twenties, attractive, funny, entertaining etc etc. why should kath be better off because people pity her situation? that's an unfair advantage.

as much as BB want some raunch eg. uncut, up late, i think they really wouldn't want things to be over the top. there's no way they could show actual sex or gratuitous nudity, even on the adult themed shows.

I have a bad feeling that the slapper is going to win the whole thing.

Her massive teary on the show last night (i think) would be enough to garner her enormous sympathy from the teenage girls who vote.

She's got it in the bag, i feel.

Did anyone see Wes almost having a cry because someone (himself more like it) will be missing out on a Sunday night eviction?

How pathetic is he? As if your eviction would be the highlight? His life must be lacking something if he's desperate for a large group of 15 year old girls, with placards, screaming out his name while he gets interviewed by one of the more scarier looking women on the planet, all on national TV.

OK I agree she's a wannabe Sl#t. I just hope she goes Sunday night so I can watch the show again. The unfair advantage she has is pathetic!! I hope all the housemates sue. They should be allowed to see their family and friends for several hours then go back in the house(like she did) so the competition is even again. Paul to win!
