Blake Caracella, a one-time reluctant Lions recruit, is now committed to seeing out his playing career in Brisbane.
Forced to leave Essendon at the end of 2002 by the salary cap squeeze and claimed by Brisbane as part of the Des Headland-Adam McPhee trade, Caracella said yesterday he had no interest in becoming a three-club player.
Already with his name on the No. 33 locker at Windy Hill as a 100-game Bomber, he said it would be nice to achieve the same recognition on No. 1 at the Gabba via a century with the Lions - "and hopefully a few more".
